Display message when Export to Excel does not export all the rows

Hi,
Oracle Business Intelligence 11.1.1.7.160119
We have limited the number of rows that users can export to Excel. Is it possible to display some sort of message/notification to the user that all the rows are not exported _or_ the export to Excel is limited to N (number set in instanceconfig.xml) rows only? We would like to display any sort of indicator to let them know this exported data set may not be complete. We want to avoid a situation where a user thinks all the data was downloaded and spreads incomplete information/data unknowingly.
Nor can we keep increasing the parameter in instanceconfig.xml as this will bring down the server by consuming the temp space. Since Export to CSV works much more efficiently, we are trying to encourage users to use this option.
My apologizes if this has been answered previously. I did search in the forum before posting this question.
Thanks.

You are better utilized determining why users want to use OBIEE as a data pump. There are much better tools suited for that.

I understand. But there are times when they want to export data to Excel. We have just started transactional reporting and hard to introduce too many tools at the same time.
Appreciate your feedback.

Feedback: No.
Longer feedback: No, not possible (without outrageous hacking)

Christian,
Thanks for your reply. Since there is not an easy way to display this message, we will keep reminding the users that there is a limit on the rows you can export.
Didn't want to say NO to the users without confirming with you all gurus over here :-)
Thanks again.

Try to find out WHY they want to export and WHAT the purpose is?
If they say "to put it into Excel to make a pivot" then slap them. Hard.
Jokes aside - educate them. Almost all cases of data export can be completely eliminated.

Christian I couldn't agree any more with you! While we are working on understanding their requirements, we are also trying various avenues to educate them. Some day we will get there.
Again thanks for your reply!

so how many rows we can Import to Excel 65000 max?? We are in OBIEE 12C. And on both Excel and PDF we can import 65000 max rows. We also opened a ticket with Oracle they say it's a bug and saying their Dev team is working on it.
