Questions on OAS Roadmap, AI Assistant, and Auto Insights Refresh

Hi Team,
I recently joined Oracle and I’ve been exploring the details around OAS. Whenever I check the roadmap through the following link - https://community.oracle.com/products/oracleanalytics/kb/articles/32-product-roadmaps - I can only see the upcoming and future items planned for OAC. Because of that, it’s difficult to understand whether an item on the OAC roadmap will also be delivered for OAS, or what exactly is planned specifically for OAS. Is there a separate roadmap for OAS? If not, how can we clarify which features from the OAC roadmap will also be included in OAS?
My second question is about the AI Assistant feature in OAC. Will this capability also come to OAS? Some of our customers — especially in the banking sector — are using their own custom LLMs in on-premises environments and are asking whether they can integrate their own LLM with OAS, similar to how Gemini or ChatGPT integrations work with OAC. Will OAS support LLM integration once the AI Assistant becomes available?
Lastly, regarding the Auto Insights panel — when we drag visualizations from the Auto Insights panel onto the workbook canvas and save them, do the explanations automatically refresh when the dataset is updated?
Thank you very much in advance for your time and help.
Best regards,

Hi,
Publicly there isn't a roadmap for OAS because OAS doesn't receive regular new features. Once released a OAS version only receives fixes. Therefore the roadmap wouldn't be much interesting as it would be valid only once a year…
The common rule is that OAS is based on the January release of OAC, looking at all the new features added to OAC in the previous year till the January release give you a full list of the potential feature available in OAS in April, or there around, when released.
This being a public forum, no internal information will be shared about what to expect or not in the coming OAS 2026. It's maybe something you should raise in one of your internal channels.
And your second question is once again something that only product management can know, and not something easily shared in public before the official release of the next OAS.

Typically, OAS releases trail major OAC updates by 6–12 months, and only include features that are cloud-independent.
