OTBI Last Accessed Folder or Default Folder Option

I've noticed that when using OTBI, it doesn't retain the last folder I was in when I return to the tool. Each time I log in, I have to manually navigate back to the folder I was previously working in, which can be time-consuming—especially when working with deeply nested folders.

It would be a great usability improvement if OTBI could remember the last accessed folder or allow users to set a default folder for quicker access. This small enhancement could significantly improve workflow efficiency.

Is this possible? Thank you.

Yes, your observation is correct, it is not supported. I cannot recall where I read but OTBI don’t maintain a local BI cookie or personalization file between logins.

It will be a good idea to check if there is already an Enhancement Request logged for it, otherwise log a new one. Hope it helps!
