Hi ! I wanted to share a small fun project I tried recently. We all know dashboards show numbers, but sometimes data feels too abstract. So I wanted to see how we can use simple images to make dashboards more human and relatable.
I used Oracle Object Storage to upload a few images and got their URLs. Then I created a csv that links each item to its image. After that, I uploaded it into Oracle Analytics and used the Vision plugin to show the image whenever I select that item.
It’s surprising how much difference a small picture can make. Instead of staring at an ID or a number, we instantly see who or what we are talking about. It makes the dashboard feel alive and helps tell a better story.
