Has Anyone else experienced issues with passing parameter values to an Analytics URL?
Hello OAC Community!
This is my first post to this forum (very exciting)! I am reaching out because I am experiencing an issue with one of my workbooks whenever I try to pass parameter values into an analytics URL. I have done this in the past with no issue, but I can't seem to pinpoint why it's not working correctly.
For reference I used this guide from the help center to set up my URL. I am certain that I built out the URL correctly. However, whenever I navigate to the workbook using the URL, none of my visualizations will load. I know the parameters are being passed correctly because the filters are updating with parameter values.
I will provide a before image of what my workbook should look like and an after image of what happens when using the URL.
Here is the added component of the URL with the parameters being passed: &p1n=Transaction%20Date%20(Month)&p1v=01-Oct-25&p2n=Company%20Code&p2v=3020&p3n=Department%20Code&p3v=17048&p4n=Account%20Code&p4v=633600
If anyone has any idea why this is happening, I would really appreciate the help.
Thanks,
-Jacob

It seems like culprit could be date; can you pass 2025-10-01 instead of 01-OCT-2025
- OR
- Try manually applying the same value inside the workbook filter.

@RVohra, unfortunately that did not work either. I have a hunch that is has something to do with how I set up the data set I am using. I used a combination of manual SQL queries and direct connections to ADW tables that are joined together with the data modeler. Does that sound like it could be causing the issue?

It could be but very difficult to advise unless have a way to connect to the instance.
Hope Oracle support or other experts can provide some help!
