Allow left joins from local dataset to an RPD subject area in a new dataset

There are situations where a dimension in a subject area is inner joins to a fact table. There can be a valid business reason to do so. But there can be other some use cases where you want to display all values form the dimension even when there are not facts.
This can be achieved by creating an OAC dataset using the physical table for the dimension and then creating another dataset that joins this to the RPD. But the issue here is that it will only allow inner join.
The specific example we are facing is the ability to plate Months from a physical calendar even when there no fact rows ( for e.g. Sev1 SRs etc). The RPD subject area is configured to an inner join from Fiscal Calendar to Fact_SRs.
