OAC/EPM Narrative Reporting Integration
This is a combined idea for OAC and EPM Narrative Reporting.
It would be really useful to be able to use OAC/DV visualisations directly in NR Report Packages. With OAC/FAIDP able to integrate data from multiple data sources and model this into an understandable format, I would like to be able to link directly to the visualisations/workbooks as reference doclets or similar.
If you take the example of an Annual Report and Accounts, this will have data on Financials, HR and operational performance. It isn't straightforward to integrate all of this data into EPM cubes and so being able to reference the DV visuals would make it easier to pull this type of document together.
This could have wide ranging benefits for both OAC and Narrative reporting as it may also calm some of the noise around not having a MS Office front end for OAC (notwithstanding the Power BI and SmartView integrations) and would save end users a lot of effort in exporting or screenshotting visuals from OAC and pasting them into reporting packages on a regular basis.
