Problem DV in Classic Home Oracle Analytics
Hello Team,
I encountered some problems visualizing a DV content in the Classic Home. If I try to view it in the DV section I see the workbook correctly, while if I try to view the workbook in a dashboard page of the classic home, I see "the loading page". I can see this problem also in other projects.
Thanks

Hello @_vero_ and @Jerry Casey,
Could you try the workaround below and let us know if the issue is resolved?
Workaround 1 - Add static.oracle.com to the Safe Domains list.
Steps:
- Navigate to DV → Console
- Go to Safe Domains
- Add static.oracle.com
- Enable Script, Font, and Style
- Save the changes
Workaround 2 - Disable loading resources through the Content Delivery Network (CDN).
Steps:
- Go to Advanced System Settings
- Select Performance and Compatibility
- Disable "Use Content Delivery Network (CDN) to Load Resources"
- Save the changes

I just encountered the same thing! None of my DV content is showing on our classic dashboard.

@Gianni Ceresa I checked my dashboards after seeing vero's post, and all of my DV-devloped content only shows "Loading…", just as they described. The reports do open normally in DV, however. Are you seeing the same?

That did it! I believe it was #2 that made the difference. Thank you!

Hello Aman,
thanks for the suggestion.
This bug can it be a problem encountered after an update of the OAC version?
Thanks

Hi ,
We have seen this issue couple of months back as well, since our user owned legacy reports are using both classic prompts (dynamic variables / SQL based - Request / Presentation filters / Hidden variables) with DV views which started failing to work.
We already in the process of moving from classic to complete DV exploring all new features, but legacy reports might take sometime, hence do we have a permanent fix for this or any plan to completely decommission classic version ?
What are the chances of bringing options for hidden variables , make it similar classic options in terms of prompt sections with dynamic variables/request variables/ repository / session variables use in the prompts.
Thanks,
Senthil
