BI Publisher Accessing WebCenter Content (Web Content Server)

Question

We have created a BI Publisher report intended to access PDF attachments stored in WebCenter Content (Web Content Server). However, when the report attempts to retrieve content from WebCenter Content via Oracle Fusion BI Publisher, it fails with an error stating "Content Server Request Failed" and indicates that the user does not have sufficient privileges to download the specified file.

For example, we need a BI Publisher report that displays links to attachments (mostly PDF files). When users click the links, they should be able to open the attachments.

Hi Joon,

A new role should be created and assigned to all the users who will have access to this report. This role allows the access to view documents on content server.
