Allow DV Authors to Create Reusable Sharing Groups in Oracle Analytics Server/Oracle Analytics Cloud

Currently in Oracle Analytics Server Data Visualization (DV), authors must either add users one-by-one when sharing workbooks or request administrators to create groups/application roles in the identity provider. This creates unnecessary friction and slows collaboration, especially in environments with many dashboards and changing user groups.

Proposed enhancement:
Allow DV authors to create and manage reusable sharing groups directly within DV.

Example workflow:

1. Author creates a group (e.g., Sales Leadership).
2. Adds or removes users as needed.
3. Shares one or more workbooks with the group.
4. Reuses the same group across other workbooks or folders.

Benefits

• Reduces dependency on administrators
• Simplifies sharing for authors
• Enables reusable access groups
• Improves scalability for large DV deployments

This would make DV more self-service and collaborative, especially for organizations with many authors and frequent sharing needs.
