Hi Community,

I would like to propose an enhancement to improve integration between Oracle APEX and the Oracle Fusion AI Data Platform (FAIDP).

Currently, developers working with APEX applications and FAIDP are required to manually configure REST APIs, authentication, and data pipelines to exchange data. This process increases development effort, introduces complexity, and can lead to inconsistencies, especially in enterprise environments.

To address this, I suggest introducing a native integration framework or built-in connector between Oracle APEX and FAIDP. This integration should enable seamless connectivity to FAIDP datasets and pipelines, support prebuilt authentication mechanisms such as OAuth2 and IAM, and allow direct data consumption within APEX components like Interactive Reports and REST Data Sources. It should also provide an easy way to push data from APEX to FAIDP pipelines with minimal configuration.

Such an enhancement would simplify development, improve security through standardized integration methods, and allow organizations to better leverage AI-driven insights within APEX applications.

I believe this feature would significantly enhance the Oracle low-code and AI ecosystem and provide great value to developers and enterprises.

Hi Jitendra - thanks for your suggestion. I'd be interested to learn more about the types of integration you have worked on - it sounds mostly at the data level? Have you been embedding FAIDP workbooks into APEX as well?
