Address Validation within USOPTE
When an employee accesses their Contact Information tile - Update Home Address, Oracle is providing a recommendation for the street address while the employee is typing. It also does the same if the employee starts with the ZipCode field. After submitting the address change, Oracle is still making a 'recommendation' based upon the USPS suggestion compared to what the employee actually typed. It will also throw a 'hard' error if the address is bogus.
The issue resides in 'Person Management' and 'Person Spotlight' where other resources (HR, Onboarding, etc) go in to update an employee's Home Address, it is not providing any recommendations based upon what is typed into the street address, city, state or zip code. In fact, it will accept a bogus address and route for approval.
