Governance plug in Enhancements
Hi all,
I've been using the governance plug-in which has been useful to my team, but I noticed that there are issues with joining the data together. When I download the workbook portion of the governance plug-in, the data source id will be accurate except when it comes to subject areas. In the workbook data, the Datasource ID will show as ERP, EPBCS, EPCM, & FCCS while the other files (Datasource, dataflows) will show the actual subject area name we have allocated. This requires reconciliation between the data sets in order to get an accurate join between them.
If there is a way to have the workbook data source ID actually represent the datasource name, especially for subject areas, it will make using the plug in much easier and the data much more trustworthy.
