Dashboard to Workbook Conversion Tool

Customers with a custom implementation of OAC are increasingly looking to move to the FAIDP to reduce risk and improve capabilities. Many of these customers are only using the classic version of OAC and traditional dashboards to visualise the data rather than data visualiser. They are also looking at RPD Merge capabilities to minimise the disruption and implementation cost as they don't have to have wholesale change of the visualisation layer if they do this.

With FAIDP customers soon to be able to use DV directly on OTBI subject areas, even more customers are going to be looking to convert from OBIEE dashboards to DV workbooks. These customers will all have made significant investment in dashboards which they will not want to be wasted.

This idea is to have a conversion tool, bringing the OTBI Dashboards into DV, converting them to workbooks and DV visualisations rather than just embedding the existing content in an iFrame. This will give them the full flexibility and capability of DV without having to re-build everything.
