12c Upload RPD - Restart which services?

Hi All,

Long time no post in this section!

On a cluster environment we are occasionally not seeing RPD updates available for some sessions. Symptom suggests that one of the BI Server Nodes has not got or applied the new RPD Definition.

What is the general consensus on here for Release process , are most people restarting just BI Server process after an RPD is uploaded ? Note we are using -D swtich on datamodel.sh uploadrpd

Which scaling out horizontal/vertical? just to confirm is a active-active model?  This is OBIEE  12.2.1.0.0, 12.2.1.1.0 or 12.2.1.2.0 ?

Long time no see. OBIS is normally sufficient.

I restart all 5 services in Enterprise Manager.
