Enablement of Position and Worker Location Hierarchy in FDI/FAIDP w.r.t to HCM related Subject Areas
Hi Team,
We have Org Hierarchy , Department Hierarchy, Manager Hierarchy already exposed in FDI / FAIDP in HCM -Workforce Core and other relevant subject areas. However, we do not have position hierarchy and worker location hierarchy tree structure in FDI / FAIDP. Our Users would need it to report these hierarchy tree views for drilling to different levels to further analyze the data breaking the data into multiple level based segments. It would also drive consistency and scalability in analytics by aligning hierarchical data across the required HCM reports and dashboards.
We even noted that these tree structures are available in Fusion OTBI . for ex, Workforce management - Position Real time for position hierarchy tree view.

FDI / FAIDP hierarchies and tree structures should all be consistent. Hierarchy tree structures are key for drilling and searching. This functionality must be present for all hierarchies and not just for examples such as Department and Organisation hierarchies.

Totally agree. Hierarchy Columns should be exposed as standard where possible, preferably with options for Code only, Description Only and a concatenation of both.
