End of life OAS 7.0 & OAS 7.6

Hi,
Welcome to the Oracle Analytics and AI community and forum.
You can bookmark the following MOS link:
OAS has a very simple support timeline: latest version is supported, the previous one is supported for 1 year after the release of the next one.
Therefore OAS 7.0 (which was released in 2023), and 7.6 (released in 2024) are out of premier support, extended support doesn't exist for OAS, and can only be covered if you have sustaining support contracts.
- OAS 26.01 was released in March 2026, it's the latest version, fully supported.
- OAS 8.2 was released in March 2025, this is the previous version. It is therefore supported until "OAS 26.01 release" + 1 year = March 2027.
Because OAS has a yearly release, each version is usually supported for 2 years: 1 year when it's the newer version, 1 year when the next one is released.

Hi Gianni,
Thank you so much for your prompt reply.
If so, I can conclude that approximately each version is supported for 2 years, like 7.6 (QAS 2024) was released in Mar-2024 and it was being supported until Mar-2026.
Regards,
Rudy

Yes, that's the current rule that has been valid for every OAS release. As long as the yearly release keeps being in March, the rule of the 2 years support is valid.
But that's why it's good to bookmark the Oracle Support site page linked above, just to have a formal document covering the topic (as you usually ask yourself this question only once a year :D )
