CPU APRIL-2026 PATCH FOR OBIEE 12.2.1.4.0

Question

Will there be any CPU patch OBI SPBAT for OBIEE 12.2.1.4. this cycle? The product is in prem support til end of 2026 but it is completely absent from Oracle Analytics - Critical Patch Update (CPU) Program April 2026 Patch Availability Document (PAD) KA1576 & it is still showing JAN patches on the Advisor: Critical Patch Update (CPU) Advisor For Oracle Analytics Server and Oracle Business Intelligence - Updated for April 2026 KA973.

OAS patches were delayed but OBIEE has no current or post release information?

Not sure how this relate or affect Analytics patches, but it could also lead to more frequent release of smaller patches.

Yes it is the communication that is the key issue here; though patch delays do play havoc with schedules..  Yes, both DB & OAS patches were noted as post release & ETAs but OBI patch info was just totally MIA.  The tab for OBI is completely missing from the PAD lol   & yikes if AI is being used in the vuln detection.. tongue in cheek, I don't think much of O AI so far if MOS efforts are anything to go by vs competitors…

A large number of patches are now delayed. Even the database patches are delayed. Some rumours linked this delay with some of the most recent AI models able to detect old hidden issues. Doesn't change much, delays are acceptable if properly communicated, which isn't always the case here…
