How to apply EBS value sets security on reports?

Hi,

In Oracle Analytics we have created reports getting data from Oracle EBS using connection. Now how we can apply user level access as per security rules assigned in Oracle EBS R12 in these reports as well. So if a user is of company 01 shall only view data of 01 of company segment and other user if of 02 shall be restricted to this only. Please note both Analytics and EBS are on premises. thanks

Hi Madeep,

Thanks for your response and please have a look there is an option to get authorization from Oracle EBS so if this is used means then user will be able to login using Oracle EBS account/user and if so then will it apply any security. If not then as you suggested how a DS query we can write for the following simple,

select * from gl_balances where segment1 = 10 if user is A

select * from gl_balances where segment1 = 15 if user is B

select * from gl_balances where segment1 in (10,15) if user is C

I am afraid that you might have to built custom security using PER_SEC_PROFILE_ASSIGNMENTS table.
