In OAC DV, Do we have any feature in DV workbooks to have saved customization as similar to Classic BI dashboards?

Workbook Personalization / Custom States in Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC) is the feature in DV similar to Classic BI Dashboard “Saved Customizations”.

What users can do now in DV:

• Save their own filter selections
• Save dashboard state/preferences
• Reopen workbook in the same personalized state
• Create multiple named states
• Set a preferred default state
• Apply saved states later

Current limitations compared to Classic BI Dashboards:

• DV personalization is primarily filter/state oriented
• Classic dashboards still have richer “consumer customization” in some areas:
  • rearranging columns
  • saving pivot changes
  • dashboard section customizations
  • analysis-level personalization

Also note:

• Personalization works mainly in Present/Viewer mode
• Workbook authors in Edit mode won’t see the same personalization workflow
