Hi All,

I did In-place upgrade from OAS 7.6(2024) to OAS 26.01(2026).

Installed Oracle Fusion Middleware 14.1.2 Infrastructure 14.1.2.0.0 &  OAS installer oa_platform 26.01.0.0.0 using response file.

Post this step i applied the patch files on the new ORACLE_HOME. Both the patches (39484634, 38637356) applied successfully.

 After the patches applied i ran Upgrade Readiness & Schema Upgrade.

 During schema upgrade, OPSS, MDS, and IAU fail with:

 oracle.sysman.assistants.common.dbutil.SQLFatalErrorException: Invalid DB Role

Any suggestions how to proceed with this?

@Srikanth Pandarangi-Oracle , the previous thread was closed because the OP didn't understand the difference between a SR and the forum. As SRs are private, no idea what is the status of the SR that person opened.

I imagine you searched in MOS already, if you couldn't find anything, open a SR and follow up in there with support. Or just ask internally as you work at Oracle ;-)
