We have an RTF template in BI Publisher that generates a multi-column PDF/PPT report (Succession Plan). The report prints Succession Plan details and employee readiness information across 4 columns — for example, "Ready Now", "Ready in 1-2 Years", "Ready in 3-5 Years", and a 4th column — where each column displays employee details such as name, role, time in role, and time with company.
In the PDF/PPT output, text from one column overlaps into the adjacent column. The unusual part is that the same template works perfectly in our Development environment but produces overlapping text in another environment.
What we've already checked:
- Report Template and Data Model is identical in both environments, as well as there are no data descrepancies.
- Server configuration settings are the same
- As well as there are no data related Discrepancies.
Has anyone experienced this before? Any guidance on what could cause environment-specific rendering differences in RTF-to-PDF/PPT output would be greatly appreciated!
