Hi gurus,
We need to model the following situation in the OBIEE/OAS repository.
The main dimensions are RISK and ORGANIZATION.
The indicators are the number of EMPLOYEES EXPOSED to risks and the number of EMPLOYEES (STAFF) per node in the ORGANIZATION.
The level of granularity is therefore different for these two indicators : risk on the one hand, and the organizational node on the other.
The difficulty arises in particular from the fact that the organization is not balanced and that the node types (departments, divisions, services, units) are not present for all branches.
While RISKS are always associated with the lowest level of the organization, the STAFF per node is not recorded at all levels of the tree.
While using LEVEL BASED MEASUREMENT can manage the different granularity, how do we manage an organization with a variable number of levels and whose type is not identical at each level ?
You will find in attachment illustrations of the table contents to better visualize the situation.
We can also create other views, such as in a data warehouse, to simplify modeling in OBIEE.
Best regards.
