Currently our Fusion ERP and Fusion Data Intelligence (FDI) instances share IAM Domain (IDCS) SSO login screens. There is a limitation in IAM domain (IDCS), where you can only define one login landing page if nothing is specified, which is myConsole. During session idle timeout, there is no way to control a login landing page, as session data are expired. when landing page got lost, for all IAM domain(IDCS) control application, it will land on myConsole page.
Currently when a user experiences a timeout in FDI it will oftentimes route inappropriately to the myConsole screen leaving users confused and thinking there is an error. A better user experience would be to route back to the application the timeout came from so they can continue their session as expected. Currently, because multiple URLs cannot be defined we cannot alter where the redirect would go for the second application.
We opened SRs with Identity team and FDI team and this was the final conclusion.
