BICC incremental extracts do not support deleted payables invoice lines. When invoice lines are deleted in fusion, the incremental extraction process do not reflect these deletions in FDI. Oracle's recommended solution is to execute a full extract to resolve this inconsistency issue. However, this approach is not feasible or user-friendly for long-term operations, as full extracts require a considerable amount of time to complete, where data may be unavailable or stale for the users. Another issue with full extracts as long term solution is that FDI will displays inconsistent data until users or IT troubleshoot the issue, identify that the discrepancy is caused by a deleted invoice line, and manually trigger the full extract.
Therefore the idea is for Oracle to enhance the BICC Application Data incremental extracts to capture the deleted lines and properly sync FDI to avoid discrepancy.
