We would like to request an enhancement to make Expenditure Comment (PJC_EXP_COMMENTS.EXPENDITURE_COMMENT) available in the Configurable Account Analysis (CAA) subject area in Oracle Fusion Data Intelligence (FDI).
Currently:
- Expenditure Comment is available in the PPM - Project Costs subject area.
- Expenditure Class is available in the seeded CAA subject area.
- Expenditure Comment is not available in the seeded CAA subject area.
- Expenditure Comment is also not available through the current CAA extensibility framework.
Business Requirement
Our reporting and analysis require Expenditure Comment to be available alongside other Project Costing attributes in CAA. While Expenditure Class is already available, the absence of Expenditure Comment limits transaction-level analysis and requires users to access multiple subject areas to obtain complete project cost details.
Providing Expenditure Comment in CAA would:
- Improve Project Cost reporting and analysis.
- Enable richer transaction-level insights within CAA.
- Reduce dependency on multiple subject areas.
- Improve reconciliation and business reporting capabilities.
- Provide consistency between the Project Costs and CAA subject areas.
Requested Enhancement
Please expose Expenditure Comment (PJC_EXP_COMMENTS.EXPENDITURE_COMMENT) in the Configurable Account Analysis (CAA) subject area either:
- As a seeded attribute, or
- As an attribute available through the CAA extensibility framework.
