Currently, when processes are In Progress such as publishing data applications or SMEs, the only option that remains on the actions button is view details. I have been facing issues when testing new extensions that they have caused downstream issues such as data extractions from other sources, or even appear to have just hung. and as a result need to cancel them. For example, I have an EPM Integrator data application that has been running for over 24 hours that seems to have just hung, despite there being no active extracts in EPM.
It would be very useful for system administrators to be able to monitor the percentage completion and cancel these processes directly in the FDI console instead of needing to raise an SR. This would streamline development, testing and resolution of issues as there is no way to monitor how complete processes are, to identify if they have been at the same point for a long time or make any corrections once the publish is in progress.
