Hi Team,
I understand from one of the product roadmap presentations that a new ERP feature is planned to allow specific data pipelines to be refreshed on an ad hoc basis. This would help address scenarios where certain AR/AP accounts have been deleted from Fusion but continue to exist in FDI.
We have encountered a similar issue in HCM, as described below.
Scenario: Employee Hire and Termination on the Same Day
An employee was hired and terminated on the same day, which caused issues with the ADP file. The records failed during ADP processing, requiring HR to reverse the termination so that the next ADP file could pick up the hire record. HR then terminated the employee again so that the subsequent ADP file could process the termination record.
However, the ADP record failed again, and HR had to update ADP manually. During this process, the Calculate Seniority Dates process appears to have encountered an issue with the two Hire Date assignment records.
The assignment record has since been deleted from Fusion, but the corresponding assignment record, with a null Hire Date, still exists in FDI.
Request:
We would like to have a similar ad hoc refresh capability in HCM that allows us to refresh the relevant data pipeline or specific set of data objects to synchronize FDI with Fusion, without having to refresh the entire Workforce functional area.
Could you please confirm whether this capability is planned for HCM as well? If so, it would be helpful to understand the expected availability and whether it would support scenarios where records deleted in Fusion continue to exist in FDI.
Thanks,
Krishna
