We need to report on this data in Oracle Fusion Data Intelligence (FDI) alongside our financial, procurement, and project data, but the current FDI coverage for Enterprise Contracts does not meet our needs.
Current limitations
- The "Enterprise Contracts - Contracts" subject area is only for the Buy side and no data is returned for the selling side.
- [Deliverables are not available / deliverable attributes are incomplete]: deliverable type, status, responsible party, due date, and completion dates.
- Descriptive flexfields (DFFs) defined on contract deliverables and contract headers are not available for reporting in FDI.
- [Contract terms, clauses, and amendment history are not available.]
Requested enhancement
- Promote the Enterprise Contracts subject area and allow us to query Contracts data in FDI.
- Add deliverables, party information, Key terms, related contracts, and other relevant Contracts data to the subject area
- Support BI-enabled DFFs on contracts and deliverables so custom attributes flow into subject areas.
- Add contract terms and amendment or version history.
- Add prebuilt metrics, for example number of open and overdue deliverables, on-time completion rate, contract value by status, and contracts nearing expiration.
- Make the subject area joinable with Procurement, Project, and Financials subject areas through shared dimensions such as supplier, business unit, and project.
Business benefit
- Gives contract managers and central offices a single place to monitor deliverable compliance and contract risk.
- Allows earlier action on overdue deliverables and expiring contracts.
- Removes manual extracts and spreadsheet reconciliation.
- Empowers us build cross-functional dashboards, such as contract deliverables against spend or project milestones.
