Scorecards & intiatives in obiee 11g?

Hi,

I am new to scorecards . I have created scorecard  But I dont have idea on intiatives. I have searched on this topic in google but, I ddint understand on intiatives

Could you please explain below details

1. what is intiatives?

2. What are inputs for this?

3. In which scenario we wil use intiatives?

4. what we expected output from this intiatives?

5. what is timebound(start, end, due date)?

6. Is it effect KPI's in Intiatives?

Hi,

If you don't have idea on initiatives it's maybe because you don't need them as you don't have any?

Depending the approach and context of your scorecard these things are defined or not.

In a corporate strategic plan over 3-5 years you generally have objectives and initiatives to achieve these objectives and finally kpi to measure how good/bad you are doing based on what the plan was. So it works better when you have a kind of top-down approach.

If you do scorecard for different reasons you can perfectly not have initiatives.

These things are there to allow you to implement Balanced Scorecards by Kaplan & Norton (as OSSM, the scorecard and strategy part in OBIEE, was supposed to replace the old Hyperion Performance Scorecard).
