Get ACL of OBIEE Subject area
Hello,
We gather provileges on subject areas for security audit. I want to automate this process and dump the subject area privileges into a database table.
I was looking into any pre-built utilities from Oracle but do not find one similar dump_ACL.sh which we have for Webcat. Any suggestions on how to go about it.
Thanks
Abhi

Abhi,
Subject Area Privileges are stored in folders under YourCatalogRoot/system/privs/sa%2e%22... with one folder per Subject Area and in there you have the usual ACLs.
The SampleAp scripts you mention are geared towards content, not system privileges.

Hey..I was just trying out different options. But thanks for sharing the info. I will explore writing a shell script to navigate through the folder structure and import data. Thanks for the response!!
