OBIEE 12C : libnuma.so.1: cannot open shared object file
After installation of OBIEE 12c in RedHat Linux I am getting following error from my essbase reports. Appreciate your help on this. Odbc driver returned an error (SQLExecDirectW). Error Codes: OPR4ONWY:U9IM8TAC:U9IM8TAC:U9IM8TAC:OI2DL65P State: HY000. Code: 10058. [NQODBC] [SQL_STATE: HY000] [nQSError: 10058] A general error has occurred. (HY000) State: HY000. Code: 43113. [nQSError: 43113] Message returned from OBIS. libnuma.so.1: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory (HY000) State: HY000. Code: 36001. [nQSError: 36001] Unable to load the dll libessapinu.so. (HY000) |

Resolved it by installing numactl in RHEL.

Didn't you get a warning on the checks before the install that this lib was missing? In general it cover everything needed ...
(good you solved your case, but curious to see if the checks before the install were all fine or you got a warning at least)

No it did not. We have RHEL 6.8. Oracle had prereq for 6.6 and prereq for RHEL 7. We followed 6.6 package requirements. It does not include numactl. Though requirement for RHEL 7 does have numactl in it.
