Analyze OBIEE WebCatalog

Hi All,
Has anyone implemented a way to analyze an OBIEE Webcatalog? I want to implement an OBIEE Analysis to see what roles are assigned to a catalog folders?
I am not a linux/java script expert probably to write this.
Any assistance would be appreciated.
