Issue with authorization in 12C

Hi,

We have migrated our BI environment from 11g (11.1.1.7) to 12c (121.2.1.2) and have scaled it out horizontally.

For authentication i am using AD authentication with groups stored in Database tables ( using BISQLGroupProvider).

After configuring BISQLGroupProvider we are facing some issues with authorization.

The issue is -

when a user who has access to all the tabs in the dashboard, logs in , he is able to see his dashboard.

But a user who has access to 2-3 tabs of dashboard, is able to sign in , but cant see any dashboard, instead he gets an error.

There are 2 separate application roles for 1)full dashboard access and  2) access to 2 tabs of dashboard.

I have checked obis and obips logs, but didn't find any error related to the authorization.

What could be the issue?
