OBIEE bundle patch question

Hi,

Does anyone know if the OBIEE bundle patch that comes out every 4 months include all the individual patches that came out before it? When I click on the details of the bundle patch, it just lists 5-6 bugs that were fixed in it. Also, are the bundle patches REQUIRED and the individual patches OPTIONAL?
