Obiee 12c - Deleting column in the RPD won't delete from alias

Question

I am trying to delete a column from one of the tables in physical layer. In 11g, when a column is deleted, it used to delete in the related aliases as well. I am on version 12.2.1.2.0 now and deleting a column in the physical table will not delete it in the alias anymore. It changes the icon to a yellow warning triangle in the alias.

when i try to hover over the mouse to select it, the Admin tool goes not responding and gets killed.

did anyone observe the same issues?

I see the same behavior in 12.2.1.2.0 admin tool. Looks Like a bug. At least one similar entry in MOS

Edit: I noticed that a few different actions performed after the delete causes the tables to be synchronized. For example you can just double click on the same physical table from which you deleted the column and when the menu comes up just click "OK" and the tables should be synchronized now. This is my observation, so may not be true for your environment.
