OBIEE BLOB

Hi,

I am trying to make show data from a field in a table, which is the type BLOB.

It contains text attachments, that I want to show in Oracle BI.

I can import the table and expose it in my presentation layer.

The content of the BLOB-column show as some kind of hex-encoding.

I have tried CAST and LOOKUP functions, but those will only throw errors.

Anyone out there who has been here?

BLOB/CLOB not a BI datatype ... XMLPublisher does support it ... but

assuming 11g...
