Passing parameters to detail Page

Hi All,

I have a requirement of the following -

       A Master page which shows the summary of Count of devices and ranges like (0-5, 6-10... )

       A detail report which shows the details based on a variable prompt for selecting ranges. 

Now we need to be able to drill down from Master to detail by clicking on the Range and detail page should automatically show prompt set to range chosen. 

Any way of passing parameters to detail page prompts ?
