First test was successful. Environments without the patch didn't refresh but patched environment was ok.

We will give it another try but I'm confident that we may have a solution

My environments also failed to refresh the variables as of Aug 3, 2018

    @Dimitris Karydis

Which patch did you apply? Was it the one that was given by Joel Acha?

Also, how did you test? Were you able to re-create the issue?

    Hi Joel

Sorry for the very silly question - But where can I find in the bundle patch the description of what this patch addresses?

I see that this patch addresses a number of bugs, but when I attempt to click on a link or search the oracle support database I cant seem to pull up any info on the actual bugs?

I don't apply the patches but as far as I can see from the SR the link with the details provided is the below one

    Oracle Support Document 2338889.1

We cannot recreate the issue but we have environments that have been patched with the above patch and environments that haven't. The ones that haven't been patched faced this issue again on Saturday but the ones with the patch haven't

Look at Section 9 of the Patch readme document.

There's mention of 27019889    DYNAMIC REPOSITORY VARIABLES NOT WORKING IN 12.2.1.3.0 being fixed as part of the bundle patch

    Ah I see what happened

There is mention of that bug being fixed in the patch docs for OBI BUNDLE PATCH 12.2.1.3.180717 but strangely for OBI BUNDLE PATCH 12.2.1.2.180717 it does not mention it

I will try installing the patch Oracle Support Document 2338889.1 that @Dimitris Karydis mentioned first and see if that fixes things

Will report back in a few months when this happens again!

Apologies, I forgot to note that I actually installed this patch in our sand box enviroment

Patch 28298611: MERGE REQUEST ON TOP OF 12.2.1.2.0 FOR BUGS 24566569 25586507 27019889

This was the newest patch I could find for 12.2.1.2 that included a fix for bug 27019889.

I currently have 12.2.1.2 installed and the patch set 180717 for some reason does not mention the bug 27019889 being fixed in the read me documentation whereas the 12.2.1.3: 180717 patch does make mention of the bug being fixed

Does anyone know if I want to upgrade from 12.2.1.2 to 12.2.1.3 is it a lot of work?

I havent done this before, and moving from 12.2.1.2 to 12.2.1.3 does not seem as straight forward as applying a patch.

    It's just 1 year anniversary

But I think we now see the light at the end of the tunnel
