Prompts on Prompts in obiee

Hi Team,

i have a requirement. I need to create a prompt on prompts. Like, i have 3 prompts like countries, customers and products . Now i want to keep these 3 prompts in single prompt. when i select countries, countries prompt should display. like that the other prompts. Please help me in achieving this.

You mean cascading prompts? The in-line prompts of an analysis do that out-of-the-box and by themselves.

Go for standard solutions rather than looking for bizarre hacks

Hi Chris, It's not cascading prompts.

Its like report selector. In report selector, how we are keeping report names in one prompt, based on selection, the report will be displayed. In the same way, is there any way to keep all the prompts in a prompt and display based on selection.

Please let me know if any more information needed.

You could build report selector by having a list of values which was displayed the reports and had html content to provide go_url functionality to navigate the user to the report in question. There is no prebuilt for this though, beyond the elements that I have described.

Alternatively you can use the folder display that comes as standard.
