Searching Indicator for Direct Database Request

I have created a Direct Database Request to provide some temporarily needed information through Obiee.

As this request is running for some time I would like to see the searching Indicator while the Request is running.

It seems this is not showing (by default?) for Direct Database Requests.

Is this a bug (let's call it an omitted feature) or does anyone know of a setting to enable this?

Not very hopeful but still wanted to ask :-)
