In OBIEE 12c, we are going through a Hostname (computer name) change process. Does anyone know the steps where to change the hostname in OBIEE 12c files ?

For example: http://ABC:9502/analytics/  is changing to http://XYZ:9502/analytics/

Thanks in advance

Rohit

This answer was not helpful as while implementing it, it gave errors.

I would like to hear from someone who has actually implemented the hostname (computer name) change on a windows environment.

    Thanks

    2 things:

1 - you say the answer isn't helpful but your response isn't either as you haven't given any information about what you've done and what actually doesn't work

2 - you marked this thread as answered so your best bet would be to create a new one.

  • So why did you flagged things as correct? This mark the thread as "nothing to see here anymore, all done", so if it isn't fixed remove the correct answer and explain what went wrong and where.

    This just doesn't mean anything...
