BI Publisher engine failed to generate report.(SBL-RPT-50524)

Question

Hi Team,

followed oracle step by step procedure document to Integrate BIP 11g with Siebel IP 13, getting following error while generate sample xml from "Sample Data File Generation View" even have set EAITransport folder parameter at Enterprise & Component level. to sli

1][0] Error writing XML to file '/HOME/siebsrvr/xmlp/data/BIP ACTIVITIES_ASSIGNED_TO.xml'.

(SBL-EAI-04262) (IDS_EAI_ERR_XMLPRT_FILE_WRITE_ERR)

[2][1] File could not be created as the directory specified for the file creation is not valid.(SBL-EAI-50228) (0x23c434)

[3]Object manager error: ([1] File could not be created as the directory specified for the file creation is not valid.(SBL-EAI-50228) (0x23c434))

[4]Error (null) invoking method "(null)" for Business Service "(null)

My Report View Error message: BI Publisher engine failed to generate report.(SBL-RPT-50524)

Able to upload files successfully at Report-Standard Templates view.

You Need to address issue with siebel team couple of siebel related known docs i got from knowledge base please review if helpful
