How to recover accidentally deleted OBIEE report

Hi,
Assumption : Web Catalogue backup has not been taken and an OBIEE report has got deleted from front end accidentally by an end user.
Is there any way to recover an OBIEE report ?
When we delete OBIEE report from the front end - does it still reside somewhere in the web catalogue ? Does it go to recycle bin of the server machine ?

What do you mean by : OBIEE report has got deleted from front end ?
Was it only deleted from the dashboard page? In that case, yes, the report is still be available in your catalog.
Please be specific in what exactly the user deleted.

+1 to Martin.
Second: A "report" from BI Publisher? Or an "analysis" from OBI?
Third: If you delete it in the proper sense of the word and there is no backup, then it is deleted and gone. This isn't Excel files on your Windows desktop.

Yes, if deleted in the proper sense of the word (As opposed to 'removed') then you're basically screwed :-/
Thanks for pointing out the slight difference in meaning between those two words Christian :-)

Hey, you asked the initial clarification question right away :-)

Yes but I realized 'removed' would have been a better word in my question ;-)

So? Means your problem is fixed? Or do you still have a question concerning this issue?
