Action links wont pass parameter

Question

Hi i am using obiee 12c

I have one report in which i count some subjects.

What i want to is when I click on the number it shifts me to another report which is showing me what subjects  are counted.

I managed to do that except one thing, action links pass every parameter  to detail report i want except one.

So it pases every prompt value and column value but not this from row

Any suggestions??

Two other questions; -

Did you try the above as a table rather than pivot table to see if you get the same result?

Would a master / detail serve your purpose better if you are looking for a row level coordinated detail?

And your action link is at row level and is invoked on the highlighted column?

As a workaround you could create a dashboard prompt for the same column, and set a presentation variable with it, filtering based on the presentation variable.

You can then display the presentation variable whilst testing and that way you will have assurance that it is 'catching' the parameter, which might give you more of a clue on what is happening on your second report - particularly if you add a show sql presentation or similar for further diagnostics.
