Hello,

I'm noticing issue in OBIEE 12c while try to migrate report from 11g that has a date column with custom data format as "MM/DD/YYYY" which is getting overridden to default  [FMT:timeStampShort].  Initially, I thought its 11g to 12c migration issue but subsequently, I'm noticing same behavior within 12c when deploy from Dev to Test environment.

I wonder if there is something to do with BI server side value set up or any possible way to fix this, would be greatly appreciated.   The issue is minor but amount of report changes are in 100s as part of the 11g migration.  Hence its bothering.

Please see attached sample.

Thanks

Bala

Which version of OBIEE 12c have you upgraded to?

    The version is 12.2.1.2.0.

Originally, the purpose is to migrate all 11g reports to 12c env.  I noticed this issue when I migrated from 11g to 12c (Dev instance) and I thought its related to migration issue from 11g to 12c.  But eventually, I fixed the format in one or two reports manually within 12c (Dev instance) and tried to move to 12c Test instance (all similar 12c versions) and realized it's not the issue related to 11g to 12c migration.

Because now it's happening within 12c instances.
