SampleApp Bar file

Hello

Is there a way to get a SampleApp.bar file or the RPD and the catalog Usage_Tracking.catalog? (Please not SampleApp Lite)

I'm not allowed to install VirtualBox with the Sample Application v607 on our VMWare hosting VDI system.
For me it would be sufficient to have an RPD and the Catalog with the Usage Tracking artifacts.

Why not configure Usage Tracking and model it yourself ... there's only a handful of database objects and then you can do what you want - which is what you will end up doing anyways.

As a last resort, I will do it.

But it would be cool, having some reports and dashboards as a template....

And the business layer as well.

Hi Joel

I already did this with the BAR file in my installation.

But I missed the Catalog Stuff. I know I have to build the reports, dashboards and hierarchy tree in BMM-Layer by myself.

So, I downloaded the Oracle BIEE 12c SampleApp v607 on my private computer and imported the appliance in VirtualBox.

Then I put the RPD and the Catalog on a USB Stick and took it with me to my company and imported all on my sandbox.

So here we are.....

As you can read in my reply to Joel, it's good.

I have a solution.

Ist zwar ein bisschen "oversupplied", aber ich kann schon das rausziehen was ich brauche.

Vielen Dank für Deine Hilfe, eventuell sehen wir uns mal bei Trivadis oder Oracle.

Einige unserer Leute waren schon bei Dir in einer Ausbildung bei Trivadis.

Ich kenne sehr gut Andreas Nobmann, auch bei Trivadis. (erzählte von Dir)

So nahm ich an, dass auch Du in dieser Ecke zu finden bist.

Bitte schicke mir die Koordinaten für das geplante Meetup in Luzern.

Ich bin sehr gerne bei einem Analytics Meetup in Luzern dabei und freue mich schon.

Eventuell, wenn es die Zeit erlaubp, kann ich auch etwas dazu beitragen.

(Concurrent developement with GIT, Dynamic Source-Switches, integrated HTML5 contend in OBIEE, etc.)
