Pivot table formatting question

Is anyone aware of a formatting method that would provide vertical dividers within a pivot table? I am working in 11.1.1.9.5.
The horizontal line show below is simply a subtotal with a font size=0 and a bottom border.
When I try that with a column subtotal, I get a column several pixels wide. (shown at right), with un-formatted headers on the sub-groups.
Setting left and right padding to zero makes no difference.
It appears that the headings for my column sub-groups are the problem, but my attempts to format them the same way have had no effect.
Thanks for any help you can offer.
Jerry

Nasty, nasty, hacky idea, but have you tried creating a formula column that is just ' ' (or however many spaces you need) suppress the heading and put it in place...

Robert,
Nasty, hacky ideas are a specialty of mine. But, in this case, I think I'd have to create a union to get the null column to appear where I want it.
Just beyond my tolerance level for a cosmetic treatment. I have tried conditional formatting, but that only affects populated cells.
Thanks for your time,

You want a section, but you want it vertical not horizontal.
You cannot use pivot table calculated columns because they would appear on the right.
You could use Bins to add a column that groups your AT01 / AT02 / AT25 / AT36 / AT68 (and repeat for the other groups) into a single group, then use some means to make it not display - but again you would have to union to get there.
Struggling to think of any other standard way to do this. Sorry!

If Javascript is not a hack too far you might want to look at this ->

It turned out that my original subtotal method worked just fine, but at some point, I had removed the "Measures Labels"
from the column stack. When I replaced it, the dividers appeared as I wanted.0 -
Thanks Robert. See my comment below, mistakenly posted to my original post.
I appreciate the response!

Thanks for this (sincerely!) it might help others and I did not think to double check the basics!! (Mark yourself correct!!)

I would, but I don't see where I can do that. All I see is "helpful", and "No actions are available".

Odd - I wonder if they have taken that away recently, you used to be able to do it, and I have done it myself when I wanted to share long hours research that finally hit gold - you get no points for doing so, it is purely altruistic

I had to get out of my Inbox view to see the "Correct Answer" button.
