OBIEE 11g Connection with HIVE DB

Question

Hi,

I am trying to connect OBIEE 11g with HIVE 1.2 DB and I am getting below error message. I am able to telnet from obiee server to hive.

From obiee 11.1.1.7 we have hive compatibility. But im not sure what will be the reason for this error. whether Hive 1.2 is compatible with data direct 7.1 and able to see the logs of obiee in hive server and no error were resulted in hive Server log.

Inn OB IEE, im getting connection refused error

11.1.1.7 is extremely old and never did support Hive officially if I remember correctly.
