Can I use a table in BMM layer without any joins

Hi All,

I have a requirement to pull an independent table into BMM layer which does not have any joins. And expose the same table into presentation layer into an existing subject area.

When I tried doing this and checked for consistency. I got the message "Business model is not consistent. Do you want to mark it as unavailable for queries"  I said no and  then unchecked the disabled option in the business model and deployed the rpd.

After the deployment none of the reports are working. If I delete the table in BMM and deploy the rpd everything is working fine.

Please suggest ?
